As a shower master, I have a calm, down-to-earth and relaxed approach. My sessions are created as a sanctuary where you can unwind, settle into your body and take a break from the pace of everyday life. Music always plays a central role. It's never random or poppy, but often ambient, spiritual or atmospheric, so it can evoke different emotions.

There's always room for a smile and a little humour along the way.

 

As a self-employed father of two little rascals, I know how important it is to prioritise breaks in everyday life. I want my guests to enter a space where time stands still and you can let go and recharge. The goal is that they leave happy with a calm body and an energised mind.

Participating in gus or facilitating them is also a break for me - I always feel recharged afterwards.

 

I always bring my personality into the gusen. Sometimes I play with themes that invite you to focus on a certain element, other times it's about peace and quiet. I like intense warmth that builds up along the way, always with a focus on everyone being able to join in. Gusen is authentic, with room for silence, contemplation and breathing - but also room for smiles and humour.

 

Fun fact: As a child, I was drawn to the spiritual. When I wasn't spending all my pocket money on crystals, I was in a Native American drumming group and regularly sang in 100+ degree sweat lodges - long before saunas and showers became commonplace.
