Are you looking for a unique venue in Aarhus? "The Surfers Room offers an informal and cosy atmosphere, perfect for meetings, courses and social events. Located at Surf Agency, right by the water, the venue offers a great opportunity to combine your event with fun and relaxing activities such as Stand Up Paddle (SUP), outdoor wellness with hot tubs, sauna and cold water tub.

Surfers Room offers:

Capacity for up to 25 participants (other setups and number of participants possible)
Screen and projector with speakers
Flipchart and portable whiteboard
Tea kitchen equipped with plates, cutlery, pots, kitchenware and fridge
Toilet, shower and changing facilities

This function room in Aarhus is not only ideal for meetings, but also for more relaxed and creative gatherings where the surroundings play an important role.

Catering

We offer various catering options (coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner) in collaboration with our neighbours Hantwerk and Humleland at the waterfront. You can choose to have the food delivered directly to the venue or eat at Hantwerk.

Alternatively, the room is also suitable for DIY events, where you can bring and prepare the food to your liking.

We can offer various great solutions for drinks for the venue from Hantwerk (e.g. drinks jugs, jugs with draft beer, wine and cava. Bringing your own drinks is not allowed.

SUP + Wellness

Book our Company package offer with 2 hours SUP followed by 1.5 hours Outdoor Wellness. Fun and action on the water, followed by relaxation in the hot tub and sauna cosiness. Back on land, jump into our sauna and hot tubs for some well-deserved relaxation and cosiness with great views and a great atmosphere. You'll be served a glass of bubbly while you enjoy the warmth. You can also order more beer jugs from our partner Hantwerk.

SUP Team Event

Stand up paddle is for everyone in the company. Get a customised team building event at Surf Agency. We adapt to your level and provide good beginner-friendly equipment so it's easy for everyone to get started. At the same time, we can make it a little harder for those in the company who should have experience with SUP. We customise activities so that it's not necessarily those who are in the best shape or have the best balance who "win". Book our SUP Team event and enjoy a unique and different day with your colleagues.

Outdoor wellness

Busy day at the office? Maybe you and your colleagues just need some well-deserved relaxation in our outdoor wellness - heated hot tubs, barrel sauna and cold water barrel - informal setting, cosiness and maybe a glass of bubbles or a cold beer in the bath?

I tried the sauna for the first time at this place but the second time was during my entire life.

I was here with my best friend Anders and we had cathrine as our instructor.

She was 10/10 out of 10. A fantastic instructor. Great views. Great energy and atmosphere throughout the entire course. What more could you ask for?.

It was like I had hoped that it would be.

10/10 in terms of experience and perfect with a view of Aarhus Ø/the harbor.

Although the locker room isn’t the most optimal place to take a shower, there is still the option to get changed and have your valuables stored, as well as 3 hours of free parking, so there’s really nothing to complain about.

We had a wonderful sauna gus with Salma as the sauna master! It was so cool and a wonderful way to start the day!! There were changing rooms and a shower and a free “bar” with water, electrolytes and juice!! Such a wonderful experience

Selma was a really good guide. Very personal, sweet and dedicated. She gets our warmest recommendation.

Mega cool with the cold plunge pool and electrolytes during the break. However, there were several times during the Aufguss where me and my friend were actually freezing (we were sitting right at the top). In future, perhaps the theme could be written in the description so you aren't disappointed by the temperature level. For 160 kr., it's a shame to freeze inside the sauna.

Response from the owner:Hi William Thank you very much for your feedback. It is really unfortunate to hear that you had a cold experience in the sauna. Normally, Julie runs very hot saunagus sessions, and I actually asked both her and some of the other guests that day, all of whom felt that the temperature was high. However, that obviously doesn't change the fact that you didn't have the same experience. May I ask where you were sitting in the sauna? Of course, there can also be a big difference in how hot people want it and how they experience the heat. Perhaps you simply prefer the extremely hot saunagus sessions, and in that case it is naturally a great shame if our gus didn't live up to your expectations. We have actually also updated our schedule so that you can now always see how hot each individual saunagus session will be – either 2 or 3 flames – making it easier to choose the session that best suits your preferences. We would really love to give you a new experience and hope you feel like giving us another chance. If you come back, we would like to offer you 2-for-1 on a saunagus session. And please do write to me afterwards and let me know if it was more in line with what you had hoped for 🙏

You get everything you could hope for 😀 Lovely saunas with essential oils guided by super staff. During breaks you can get something refreshing and dip yourself in a cold water pool as needed. Super centrally located with a view of Aarhus Ø. Definitely worth a visit. Not the last time I'll be there!

Went with my wife on a crash course + board hire.
It was a great experience and the staff were very experienced. The short course was enough to get started.
It was really good to sail along Risskov and relax a bit. However, we both felt some new muscles in our arms when we got home.
