Organising a stag party can quickly become overwhelming. There are many considerations and wishes to take into account, and not least, it can be a challenge to organise the logistics if guests have to travel between many different activities. 

Bachelor party packages for greater profits 

Throughout the 14 years that Surf Agency has been organising polterabender, the founders realised that logistics can be a stress factor on a day when the focus should be on having a great time together. That's why they have created bachelor party packages where surfer chill and cosiness are paramount.  

- We want to provide a relaxing setting and make it easier for guests to have a great bachelor party where everyone can enjoy time together instead of reminding each other about the programme and logistics," says Finja Götz, who runs Surf Agency together with Michael Allman. 

A bachelorette party in the surf oasis can consist of Stand Up Paddle (SUP) in Aarhus Bay, relaxing in The hot tub and saunawhere you can enjoy treats from neighbouring brewery Hantwerk, and dining or activities in The function room. 

Shake-it-up in the function room

Anna Stegger Gemzøe had booked one of the first bachelorette parties of the spring for her good friend and her wedding guests. 

- It was great that we could use the place for a whole day," says Anna, who together with the group started the day in the function room with breakfast and a group quiz as a good way to bring the guests together. 

Glatis became a water playground

For their next activity, Surf Agency's SUP instructors Emily and Salma were ready with their wetsuits for a surfing trip on Aarhus Bay. 

- It was great to embark on an activity where we all had the same starting point and were a bit lost. It was new and exciting, and a little unsafe, but fun at the same time. Most of us thought "I'm not jumping in the water, I think it's cold, just standing on the board is fine" - but once the instructors got us over that barrier and we all got in the water, we had a blast with co-operative exercises, SUP polo and competitions, says Anna. 

The group was closely followed throughout the trip by their instructors. 

- "The instructors were very clear and fresh, and we felt that they were having almost as much fun as we were getting out on the sea and playing!" says Anna. 

Sauna cosiness in a surfer community

After the hardships and fun on the water, the stag party guests relaxed in the sauna in the outdoor wellness area. 

- We got a lot out of the day by being in such a cool environment. We felt very welcome and invited into a small, cosy community and a relaxation zone where we could just chill. Also, throughout the planning and communication leading up to the event, we felt that Surf Agency wanted us and made sure that we had a great day," says Anna. 

Holidays without a flight

Bachelor parties are one of the most popular events at Surf Agency, and the surfers behind it are constantly developing the concept.  

- We want to give people a different kind of day where they feel a bit exclusive and there's a great holiday atmosphere! Travelling together as a group to a place where you can have new experiences and have fun together - without getting on a plane," says Finja. 

She also points out that there are many restaurants and event venues at the harbour where you can continue the evening and the stag party. For example, there is VinDanmark and Craftsmanship a few steps from Surf Agency.

For Anna Stegger Gemzøe and the group, surfing was the main attraction of the day - and most importantly: The bride was happy and satisfied!
